Terms and Conditions

Unleashed Doggie Daycare & Grooming Spa (“Unleashed DC”), including its owners, employees, contractors and agents, will take all reasonable care in the handling and supervision of pets. However, pets attend and participate in daycare, grooming, walking and related activities at the owner’s risk. To the extent permitted by law, Unleashed DC accepts no liability for loss, injury, illness, death or damage suffered by any pet, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Unleashed DC accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of collars, leads, harnesses, carriers, bedding, toys, clothing or any other items left with a pet.

Every reasonable effort is made to keep pets safe, healthy and happy while in our care. Owners acknowledge that interactions with other animals involve inherent risks and agree to accept those risks.

The pet owner agrees to pay all fees and charges applicable to daycare, grooming, walking or other services provided by Unleashed DC.

The pet owner shall be responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred for their pet while in the care of Unleashed DC.

Where veterinary treatment is required due to illness, injury, accident or emergency involving the owner’s pet, the owner agrees to pay all associated veterinary, transport and related costs.

If a member of staff reasonably believes a pet requires veterinary attention, every effort will be made to contact the owner and/or the owner’s nominated veterinarian. If the owner cannot be contacted, or circumstances require urgent action, Unleashed DC may seek veterinary treatment from a veterinarian of its choice. The owner authorises such treatment and accepts responsibility for all associated costs.

Payment for services is due no later than the date of attendance unless otherwise agreed by Unleashed DC. Payment may be made by cash, EFTPOS, credit card or any other approved payment method.

These Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, apply to each occasion a pet is admitted to the care of Unleashed DC.

Operating hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 6:30pm Friday: 7:30am – 6:00pm

Check-in: 7:30am – 9:30am

Check-out: 4:00pm – 6:30pm (Friday 6:00pm)

1. In the interests of safety and maintaining a calm environment for all dogs, owners will not be admitted to the daycare areas between 9:30am and 4:00pm unless prior arrangements have been made with Unleashed DC.
2. In accordance with licensing requirements, any dog not collected by the scheduled collection time may, at Unleashed DC’s discretion, be transferred to alternative accommodation or care arrangements at the owner’s expense.
3. In accordance with council permit requirements, all dogs attending Unleashed DC must provide current vaccination records and, where applicable, desexing documentation prior to attendance.
4. Unleashed DC reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate enrolment or attendance of any pet at its sole discretion.
5. The owner confirms that their pet is suitably socialised and may interact with other dogs and people. The owner acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with group socialisation.
6. The owner warrants that their pet has not demonstrated aggressive, dangerous or unpredictable behaviour towards people or animals, unless previously disclosed and accepted in writing by Unleashed DC.
7. The owner accepts responsibility for any injury, damage, loss or expense caused by their pet to another animal, person, staff member or property while attending Unleashed DC.
8. The owner acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions and may request a copy at any time.
9. The owner authorises Unleashed DC to obtain veterinary treatment for their pet at the owner’s expense if the owner cannot be contacted by telephone, SMS or email.
10. Cancellations and Changes

All cancellations or changes to daycare, grooming or walking bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking time via email, SMS, telephone or the online booking system.

Where notice is provided less than 48 hours before the scheduled booking time, Unleashed DC reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the applicable booking fee.

• Photography, Video and Social Media Consent

The owner acknowledges and agrees that photographs and videos may be taken of their pet while attending Unleashed DC. The owner grants Unleashed DC permission to use such photographs and videos for marketing, advertising, promotional, educational, social media and website purposes without compensation. Owners may withdraw this consent by notifying Unleashed DC in writing.

• Privacy and Marketing Communications

The owner acknowledges and agrees that Unleashed DC may collect, store and use personal information including names, email addresses, telephone numbers and pet information for the purpose of providing services and managing customer relationships.

The owner agrees that Unleashed DC may contact them by email, SMS, telephone or other electronic means regarding:

• Booking confirmations and reminders;
• Service updates and pet care information;
• Follow-up communications relating to services provided;
• Vaccination reminders;
• Grooming reminders;
• Daycare availability updates;
• Special offers, promotions, competitions, events and new services.

Owners may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe facility provided or by contacting Unleashed DC directly. Service-related communications regarding bookings and pet care may continue to be sent regardless of marketing preferences.

The owner confirms that all information provided to Unleashed DC is true and accurate and agrees to notify Unleashed DC of any changes to contact details, veterinary information, vaccination status, behavioural issues or medical conditions affecting their pet.
